The Beginning

When we purchased the farm in 2018, we were awestruck at the landscape and potential beauty hidden amongst the overgrown and neglected areas surrounding the property. Slowly over the last couple of years we have worked to uncover and revive some of the different areas to its original unique beauty. We still have areas that are a work-in-progress but find great pride in each completed hidden gem.

How did we get started in hay?

In the beginning we discovered the once heavily grazed and neglected cattle and horse fields would be in need of some special annual upkeep of their own. Our best plan of attack was to self-sustain and utilize our own hay for our own animals. Once we learned the ground and started the upkeep on the fields they came to life. Now producing enough hay annually not only for our animals but for other herds in our own community!
